This workshop is for ANYONE who has to give feedback and is nervous about doing so. Feel free to invite anyone you know who could benefit.

This interactive, virtual workshop on Giving and Receiving Feedback is designed to:

1. Understand the factors that lead to effectively giving and receiving feedback.
2. Provide practical strategies to give feedback.
3. Provide practical strategies to receive feedback.
4. Share strategies to create an environment primed for giving and receiving feedback.

Giving and receiving feedback is hard. It doesn't matter what role you're in.

When you give feedback, how much of it is really about the other person, and how much is your own values or insecurities talking? When you receive feedback, how often does your ego get in the way before you actually hear it?

The answer to both comes down to self-awareness. Without it, you can't give feedback that's honest, and you can't take feedback in without getting defensive.

This training gets into the mindset behind both sides of feedback. You'll walk away with practical ways to give feedback with confidence, and take it in without shutting down. We'll also cover how to build a culture where feedback feels safe, not scary, so it becomes a tool people actually use to grow, instead of something everyone tries to avoid.

• This is not a lecture. You’ll participate in interactive exercises, small group discussions, breakout rooms, real time polls, and practical tools you can apply immediately.
• Each participant will receive a workbook to use during the workshop and to take away for reference later.
• They will also receive access to the Work Wise Labs Giving and Receiving Self-Paced Mini-Course as reinforcement of  the learning.
